Hyderabad: Popular Hyderabadi youtuber, Sharukh Adnan Khan has filed a complaint at Cyber Crime Police Station, Hyderabad against a fake Facebook account created on his name ‘Sharukh Adnan’ by Hindutva miscreants to post hateful messages. The fake account has been used to post hate filled messages against majority community. After filing the complaint, Shahrukh informed media that there are at least 7-8 fake Facebook accounts on his name and all of them are unverified. He said, his real Facebook account is Hyderabad Diaries and it is a verified account. Since he filed the case, the fake account has disappeared from Facebook.

The message posted on fake Facebook account of Shahrukh has been widely circulated on Twitter by the twitter handle @netajibond on Tuesday which goes by the screen name ‘Wali HMP’, which is also written in the Kannada language. The tweet has been retweeted 1804 times and liked 2094 times till the time this post was written.

The right wing news website, Opindia, has published a news piece claiming that Shahrukh has posted the remarks on Facebook site, with a screen shot of it which reads, “Up mein hi nahi bach sakte tou soncho, Hyderabad, kerala, Bengal, assam mein kya kya hoga bahkton ka.” The site says, the remarks were published after a man was shot dead in pragyaraj over remarks made against the Tablighi Jamaat’s role in spreading the Wuhan Coronavirus.”

Shahrukh is son of famous comedian Adnan Khan popular by his character name “Gullu Dada” and makes comedy videos which are published on Youtube. He has over a million followers on Facebook.
