Hyderabad | Talha Hussain Gulbargavi: On 13th June 1659, Muhiuddin Muhammad, The Mughal Prince-Viceroy of Deccan, was crowned as the 6th Mughal Emporer of India. He took the royal title as Alamgir (”Conqueror of the World’) but the history would remember him by the name of Aurangzeb (‘Ornament of the Throne’).
