Bangalore | SABA KHAN :

Heartbroken Munawar Faruqui on Sunday took to his Twitter and insta handles to show his anguish stating
“ Nafrat jeet gayi, Artist haar gaya
I’m done! Goodbye! INJUSTICE” after his twelfth show called off in a couple of months.

He was supposed to perform on 28 November in Good Shepherd Auditorium Bengaluru which was called off after the Manager of Auditorium received a letter from Bengaluru police. The Manager of the Auditorium says he is no longer giving space for Munawar’s show.
Munawar Faruqui has also mentioned that the show which he was performing today was organised for Late Puneeth Rajkumar sir’s
charity organisation. Which his team agreed not to sell the show in the name of charity as suggested by the noble organisation said Faruqui.
Whereas Bengaluru police issued its statement saying “ There is credible information that several organisations are opposing this stand-up comedy show and it could create chaos and disturb the public peace and harmony, which may lead to law and order problems.”
They added up saying “It is learned that Munawar Faruqui is a controversial figure as he has made controversial statements on other religions gods.”

Munawar Faruqui calls the move by Bengaluru police unfair.
