Talha Hussain Gulbargavi| Hyderabad : Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao decided to reshuffle the top police officers in the State and cleared the transfers of 30 police officers on late Friday night.
Anjani Kumar, the CP of Hyderabad, has been promoted to Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, while CV Anand, a 1991 Batch IPS officer, who returned to Telangana after serving in the Central government, has been named the new Commissioner of Hyderabad Police. It will be an uphill task for the New Commissioner to fill in the shoes of Mr. Anjani Kumar who had worked hard to restore the faith of people in the police department through his new and technological oriented style of working.
