Recently videos of religious seers were seen spreading hatred against other religions surfaced social media sparked National and International media coverage.
‘Dharam Sansad’ called now as ‘hate assembly’ or “Genocidal meet” by opposition was held for three days on 17-19th Dec in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, the congregation was organised by Yati Narshinghanand’s Dasna Hindu peeth Ghaziabad is usually held every year in different parts of India but what caught International outrage this year was videos of provocative speeches calling for collecting of advanced arms and genocide of minorities mainly muslims made by participating seers on social media.
Yati Narsinghanand allegedly said “ arming the hindu brigade with bigger and better weapon” is the solution against the “threat of muslim” he also said he would provide “Rs 1 crore to those yound sanyasis willing to follow the path of LTTE cheid Prabhakaran”. “Pick up arms to protect Sanatan Dharma if any demon tries to become a threat to hindutva” said another seer adding further “we need to increase our population over them if needed, we can kill them. We will be considered winners even if 20 lakh of their population is killed”. Yet another seer was heard saying “he would have shot ex PM Manmohan Singh”.
After outrage However FIR was fired against Jitedra Narayan Tyagi formely known as Wasim Rizvi who converted to hindutva and others but no arrests have been made in connection to it. Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar told that a case has been registered under section IPC 153-A on grounds of disharmony and hatred.

Haridwar Genocidal meet was ignored by the Sanghi and Godi media but it was widely reported by the International media.
As the twitterati raged against the hate assembly in Haridwar, International publications and influencers started taking not and started writing against both the assembly and the inaction of Modi Govt. internationally acclaimed Washington Post, New York Times, le Monde. UK-Commonwealth: Meanwhile, BBC world, a widely read website in former British Union, Carried a Detailed report on the incident mentioning the timeline and the inflammatory statements given by the seers. It also mentions that police failed to act in timely manner. the report has no mention of its author, and was presented as bureau report.
