Tough test for Hyderabad Police to deal with as Gaurakshaks and VHP ups the ante against the killing and transportation of cows
Amid the rising cases in the city and possible third wave of COVID19, Hyderabad is fully geared up for Bonalu and Eid-ul Adha festivals.
An adequate amount of police personnel are being deployed, City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said.
While interacting with the media, Anjani Kumar reiterated that the administration is coordinating with all the departments concerned to ensure that the procession of Bonalu is taken out peacefully and also the celebrations of Eid-ul-Adha.
Keeping in mind the Bakrid festival, he said a meeting was already in place for the arrangements. “In case there is any problem or complaint, please inform the police on Dial 100. Don’t take the law into your hands. We are here to support and help you,” he added.
He tweeted.
Greetings for the forthcoming Eid Ul Adha. Together we work for peace and tranquility of this beautiful city. We love Hyderabad more than any other place on earth. pic.twitter.com/PjDn3fko3D
