Bidar M.P Bhagwanth Khuba has informed a Bengaluru based English daily that the Bidar-Yeswanthpur (Bengaluru) (16572) express train will be soon run via Kalaburagi (Gulbarga) instead of existing Vikarabad junction. He further informed that the Railway Board and the Railway Ministry have sanctioned the diversion of the train to Kalaburagi.
Due to the diversion, the travel time between Bidar and Bengaluru is likely to be reduced by 1.5 to 2 hours. However, there will be no change in the route of Bengaluru-Nanded Express (16594)
