Where Will We Find A Cure For Stupidity, Asks Harbhajan Singh

Multiple incidents of houses and buildings catching fires across the country have emerged after people burst fire crackers and lit diya in response to PM Modi’s call to shut lights of houses and lit diyas or candles as solidarity towards coronavirus warriors. However, many celebrities, including BJP’s MP from Delhi, Gautam Gmabhi have heavily criticized the bursting of crackers by people at 9 pm on April 5, which resulted in damage to property and injuries to many people. The latest to join the list is cricketer Harbhajan Singh. In response to a former The Hindu journalist’s video in a tweet, in which a building can be seen getting engulfed in fire due to bursting of fire cracker next to the journalist house, Harbhajan Singh tweeted, “we will undoubtedly find a cure for corona but from where will we find a cure for such stupidity?” The tweet has gone viral since then.
