Gulbarga | Talha Hussain Gulbargavi : ‘There is a Direct contest between Congress and BJP, People of BasavaKalyan have decided to honor the legacy of Late B Narayan Rao, by making His Widow Mallama Narayan Rao their MLA. Apart from that BJP has also fumbled by fielding an outsider candidate who has no knowledge of Kalyani or its issues. Said BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan MLA He was speaking to The Freedom Press Reporter on Basavakalyan By-elections. BZ Khan has camped in Gulbarga & has been travelling to BasavaKalyan Daily to Oversee the Campaign. He has been deputed by Congress State Leadership in this Assembly constituency which has a heavy Muslim population.
True to his mercurial Nature He has been leading the Congress charge especially against JDS Supremo Kumaraswamy, who has stayed in Constituency from past week. Zameer Ahmed khan has been in news due to his acerbic verbal attacks which have attracted strong response from a battery of JDS Leaders, a Complaint and a protest at his house.
On Friday, sparring between Him & JDS leaders turned a New leaf as he took on JDS National Secy Zafrullah Khan on his controversial statement about Hazrat Bilal RZ & Kumaraswamy. ‘Kya Zafrullah khan Muslim hai? Sharam ani chahiye usko‘ he thundered calling Zafirullah Khan a ‘Chaploos‘ for his remarks comparing Kumaraswamy with Hazrat Bilal, A revered Figure of Muslim History, On basis of their color.
Mentioning the works done by B Narayan Rao, he said that the Late MLA has solved many long standing demands of Minority Community which were pending since a decade or more, which included providing a Land for graveyard in City, Construction of Boundary Wall for Eidgah, Infra development of Auto Nagar where a Huge number of Minority Business are located. Remembering The relief work done by the MLA Narayan Rao during Covid19 pandemic & lockdown, he said that though the time of death is written, had Narayan Rao not put himself in danger for his people, he would have been alive. He spent millions for providing relief for poor people of Kalyani, and he even borrowed money when his own was finished. It is this legacy that People of Kalyani want to Honor by supporting his Widow he said. He concluded by saying that the rebels from both parties will have no bearing on the result and Congress is sure to win this seat, as JDS MIM etc are already out of the race.
