Gulbarga: Suresh Sajjan took charge as the interim chairman of Kalaburagi-Yadagiri District Co-operative Center (DCC) Bank here on Friday.
Suresh Sajjan, the current Vice-Chairman of the Bank, has taken charge as the Acting Chairman of the position vacated by the recent resignation of Rajkumar Patil Telkur, a former MLA from Sedam Constituency who was nominated as a Director by the Government.
Sajjan, who held a board meeting of the bank after assuming charge as interim chairman, got information about the financial condition of the bank and loan recovery and disbursement.
Speaking on the occasion Sajjann said that An appropriate decision needs to be taken regarding the disbursement of new loans to farmers and the repayment of loans. Sajjan said that the support of all management and staff is necessary in this regard.
Apex Bank Director Shivananda Manakar, KYDCC Directors Somasekara Gonayaka, Sharanbasappa Patil Ashtagi, Bapu Gowda Patil Hunsagi, Sidramaraddy Kowloon Yadgiri, Gautama Patil Chincholi, Basavaraja Patil Heroor, Ashoka Saval Aland, Chandrashekareshwaralli, Ninganna Dodda Tukhamani, Uttam Bajaja were present. CEO and MD Vishwanath Malakooda conducted the selection process.
Kishora Seth Surapura, Prakasha Sajjana, Raja Mukunda Nayak, Manjunath Gulagi, Mallikarjuna Ruddy Hattikuni, Shantaraddy Chaudhary Mudanoor, Vishwaradhya Satyampete, Revanasiddappa Sankali, Sharanu Billada, Chandrakanta Gowda and many others participated in the celebration.
Delegation: In the meeting, Interim President Suresh Sajjan announced that a delegation will be sent to the Chief Minister and Cooperation Minister within two weeks to get loans from Apex and NABARD for distributing new loans to farmers. On the same occasion, he said that a program will be organized to create awareness among farmers and people about loan giving and recovery and loan facilities provided by the Government.
