‘Saffron shawl to college is not good’ Mangalore University Chancellor.

Mangalore: ‘Being 9th Chancellor completed 2 year 7 months. still I have 17 months, what development have been happening and what development have to be done to explain I’ve called this press meet.’ Said Mr Yadipaditayya, Vice Chancellor of Mangalore university in a press meet he conducted.

“Because of covid syllabus shortening, time management have to improve” he added.

Commenting upon the controversy by Sanghi groups & the Students who tried to Stoke controversy in a college in Udupi, Mr Yadipaditayya said that “India is multicultural country. One of the college in Udupi students were wearing saffron shawls. it is not good environment for studies. Coming to college they should maintain peace in college, there is no conditions over dress code but breaking rules of discipline”.

On this occasion Mangalore University Registrar Dr CK Kishore Kumar, Finance Officer B Narayana and others were also present.
