Talha Gulbargavi | Gulbarga: On the occasion of the 85th birth anniversary of former CM of K’taka, Shri N. Dharam Singh, a foundation stone laying ceremony was performed for various projects sponsored by the Dharam Singh foundation in the presence of LoP in Rajya Sabha, Dr Mallikarjuna Kharge at Jewargi.
The projects include a government-supported 100-bed Mother & Child Hospital at Katti Sangavi village, about 1.5 km from Jewargi town in Kalaburagi district. Dharam Singh Foundation had provided 2.5 acres of land for free to the Government to construct the hospital, which would be named after, late N. Dharam Singh, former Chief Minister.
Among other projects are to construct a Kalyana Mandapam in the adjacent premises and put it for the service of the poor for free, Prasada Nilaya, Library, & a Museum capturing the life of Late Shri N. Dharam Singh.
