New Delhi: Reposing faith in his leadership and commitment, AICC National President & Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgarhi has appointed Gulbarga Congress Leader & AICC National Minority Dept Co-ordinator Najmul Islam Ahmer as the Observer for the Rajgir (SC) constituency under the Minority Department of the Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections.

The Rajgir (SC) Assembly falls into politically prestigious Nalanda District which is the Home turf of CM Nitish Kumar, Mahagathbandhan has fielded Bishwanath Chaudhary of CPI ML as the candidate in front of Sitting JDU Candidate Kaushal Kishore. Whereas Congress Minorities Department Bihar Chairperson Umair Ahmed Khan is contesting in the adjoining Biharshareef Constituency.

Najmul Islam Ahmer has been actively involved in organizational & election responsibilities since 2021, when he was inducted into the AICC National Minorities Department as Co-ordinator. His consistent engagement in strengthening the party at the grassroots level and mobilizing minority communities has earned him the trust of the party’s national leadership once again.
