These Pro-Corporate Bills will destroy Indian Farmers says Altaf Inamdar; One Day hunger Strike held in Gulbarga against Farm Bills

Gulbarga: Nation for Farmers organized a one Day hunger strike in solidarity with the Farmer of the Nation. This Hunger strike along with a Dharna was held at Gulbarga Jagat Circle. Members sat through the day, raising awareness against the Ant-Farmers laws passed by the Modi Government. They were Supported by Farmer organizations, labor groups and others who are also protesting against the central and state government’s anti farmers bills.

Speaking to The Freedom Press, Nation For Farmers’s Altaf Inamdar stressed that all over India the Farmers are against these laws and protests are rising up everywhere, the protests are more intense and visible in the north due to better organization. He said that the South Indian Farmers are not that organized which is why they are somewhat unaware of the situation and he hoped that they will intensify the protest in coming days.

“Our main demand is simple, We call for a Complete Roll back of these laws, not an amendment. These laws are anti-farmer, anti-consumer and anti-poor. This is just for Corporatization of Farming, & no one other than Adani Ambani & other crony capitalist friends of Modi gets any benefit from these laws. Which is why Farmers are protesting and we are here showing our solidarity with them with this one-day hunger strike.” he added.

Commenting about protests and Central government’s response to it This is the only way, We are not here because we want to, but we are here because we are left with no options. These laws will destroy Indian farmers, we cannot let that happen.
AIDWO too extended the support to this hunger strike, Speaking at the occasion AIDWO leader K NEELA demanded the rollback of the anti-farmer laws and said that the protests shall continue till they are rolled back.
