Adv Sadat Hussain Ustad: “Zameen Kha gayi Aasmaan kaese kaese”, Gulbarga lays to rest one of its iconic Sons.

Gulbarga: one of the Iconic personalities of Gulbarga alHaaj Janab Saadat Hussain Ustad Advocate sahab, who was considered one of the pillars of the legal fraternity in Gulbarga, and had been one of the important social personality across the community lines, have passed away after some days of hospitalization following an heart attack on Sunday 26 Dec 2021. he was laid to rest among hundreds of his family members and people across the state paying their respect to him. Earlier His body was kept at his house in shanti nagar gulbarga for last view of public. His Namaz Janaza was performed in Khadim Qabrastan of MSK Mill, where his body was laid to rest as well.

His Family was visited by numerous important socio political and religious personalities who paid their tributes to him and consoled the family. He is Survived by 5 sons and a daughter. His eldest son Zakir Hussain Ustad is a well known lawyer like him, Meanwhile his second son Nasir Hussain Ustad, followed him in politics, & currently is the State President of JDS Minority Cell Karnataka. His another Son Dr Tanveer Ustad is a Famed Nephrologist, another Son Amir is a Lawyer and last one Mudassir, an Engineer.

A Legend Who passed away

He was a socially and politically active personality who had left an indelible mark on the City and District politics. Janab Sadat Sahab Contested Gulbarga MLA Elections twice once from Janata Party and Once from Congress, and narrowly lost against Dr Qamar ul Islam both times. He worked as Waqf Chairman of Gulbarga and also as Gulbarga District Congress Minority dept chairman among other things.

He was among the Young leaders who worked hard to eradicate the sense of loss and fear that followed the Police action and merging of Hyderabad Karnataka in the Karnataka State. He chose the profession of Legal assistance to help the poor and downtrodden and the muslim minorities who were left out of the mainstream. he worked hard to get the innocent people especially the Muslims to get them released and on the other hand also worked to create a generation of Young Muslim Lawyers and increase legal literacy of the community.

 

Advocate Saadat Sahab Ustad was a trend setter and trailblazer, and a role model for anyone in the region who wished to be a lawyer. His personality was one of the reason why we see so many Youth from Muslims, other minorities and oppressed classes took up law. He was a man of People and never afraid of telling what was on his mind. His strived to make the world a better place and worked tirelessly for it.

He was the legal eagle, who would assist innumerable Milli organization with their legal issues or with suggestions. He was a walking judicial library, but He was Not just a Lawyer, but a Social Activist and a Leader. He created scores of youth who became leaders in their fields and helped the people.

He possessed an endearing personality which made him connect with all kinds of people, and he was respected by people of all faiths and party affiliations. It will be very difficult for anyone to fill this gap. He was a maverick personality who was an esteemed and legendary lawyer, a politician with values, a Milli leader whose heart beat for people. on This sad day, we offer Our Condolences and deepest regards to his family. and we hope that his mission to empower the people will keep on moving.
