Bangalore: A meeting was called by JAC Karnataka and We the people of India in Bangalore. In this meeting DSS state president Mohan Rai, Mr Senthil(RTD IAS Officer), Yusuf Kani Sahab(Co Convener JAC) who presided the meeting and many NGOs representatives were present and after hours of discussion a resolution was passed.
1.It has been decided that on 12th March, the day when Gandhi ji began his Dandi March in 1930,a Hunger Strike should be organised in every district and taluka wherein a memorandum from these organisation will be given to DC.
2.It has also been decided that a large protest public meeting will be organised in Bangalore and the organising committee comprising of all the districts will be formed. This program will be held on 22nd.
3.1000 workshops will be organised in Karnataka to reject NPR completely and members of both organisation will take the support of political parties to pass a resolution in as many Panchayats and councils as it can.
4.Members will meet 13 important spiritual leaders of different matts and would like the district committees to do likewise in their district as well.
5. To curb any kind of disharmony, peace committees are to be established comprising of all communities and precautions are to be taken that no untoward incident takes place which might harm the movement.
6.Ward Committees are to be established with the support of political parties, NGOs and influential personalities of that area to make people reject NPR in toto.
7.Legal Cell,Peace Committee Coordination Cell and Workshop Orientation Cell will be established.
