Gulbarga | Talha Hussain Gulbargavi : “Continuous rise in the Fuel prices along with the back crushing lockdowns have killed indian economy and will of people to live. which is why we have Congress party organized a different way of protest by paying Rs 50 to public who had come to fill petrol at petrol bunks, indicating that the actual cost of petrol is 50 and the bjp government is charging extra rs 50 for taxes.” Said KPCC State Minority Dept Coordinator Najmul Islam (Ahmer). He was speaking to media persons after holding 100NotOut Protest at Prince Petrol Pump SangtarashWadi Gulbarga.
He Said that this is the third such protest done by the party against the price hike this week. Earlier a Demonstration at petrol pump was organized to create public awareness against the loot of BJP and later a Cycle rally was organised to highlight the effects of arbitrary and unnecessary hikes in petrol and diesel hikes.
Speaking at occasion Congress Spokesperson & MLA Priyank Kharge said “BJP Govts (Central & state) can reduce taxes on petrol & diesel to help people in these difficult times. Indians don’t have to pay excess #BJPtax that is being levied on fuel. INC Kalaburagi refunded ₹50 to thousands of people who produced their fuel bill. INCKalaburagi did the #BJPTaxRefund program of returning ₹50 to make people aware of the excess the tax that is being collected by BJP Govt. The #FuelPriceHike has hit the working class hard & if Govt wants they can roll back the fuel price to help peoples.” he held programs at several petrolpumps in multiple locations in Gulbarga City.

occasion.
