Gulbarga: A high tech residential Urdu school was awaited by Gulbarga people since many decades. The same was sanctioned in Savalgi and the residential school is built for Rs 11 crore and the building was inaugurated on 9/1/2017 by Shri Mallikarjun Khage Gulbarga MP, District Incharge Minister Dr Sharan Prakash Patil, Mr Qamar Ul Islam Former Minister & Gulbarga North MLA and Mr Ilyaz Bagwan NEKRTC Chairman.
Residents of Savalgi protested to change this school from Urdu to English medium. Abdul Raheem Patel SDPI State Secretary condemn and questioned the way the Government decided in a haste to shift from Savalgi to Hagarga. He said, this shows the love and respect it has towards Urdu and Minorities students. He also questioned after completion of building in another 2 years, if the people of Hagarga protest and do not want Urdu school, whether this Government will again shift it to other place.
