Gulbarga :in the Run up to the state General elections which are 5 month away now, the Ruling Congress has said to given Green Signal to 80 candidates for campaigning most of whome are sitting MLAs or ex MLAs ,meanwhile opposition party JDS has given go ahead for 65 candidates most of whome are MLAs or ex MLAs . BJP facing Heavy infighting .
In Gulbarga congress has Given Green Signal to Ajay Dharam Singh from Jewargi, Priyank Kharge from Chittapur, BR Patil from Aland, Dr Sharanprakash Patil from Sedam, Dr Umesh Jadhav from Chincholi. All 3 seats of Gulbarga have been left undecided.
In Yadgir it has given the assurance to Raja Venkatappa Nayak Surpur, Sharanabasappa Darshnapur Shahapur. Interestingly Yadgir City and Gurmithkal have been left undecided as of Now.
In Bidar the Congress is said to have asked District Incharge Minister Ishwar Khandre Bhalki, Rahim Khan Bidar, Bhimsen Rao Sindhe to begin the preparations and start campaigning. Humnabad MLA Rajshekar Patil and Bidar south assembly have been left undecided.
In Raichur Hampangouda badarli Sindhanur, and in Koppal Iqbal Ansari Gangavathi, Raghavendra Hitnal in Koppal City, were given a go ahead reportedly.
Meanwhile the JDS list heavily featured the south karnataka seats it has a strong hold of. However many seats from North Karnataka were also said to be finalised among them was Mallikarjun Khuba Basavakalyan, Raichur City Dr Shivraj Patil, Lingsugur Manappa Munjal, Bandeppa Kashempur Bidar South, Gurmithkal Nagangouda, Chincholi Sushila Bai.
BJP however is said to be marred with infighting and has been lagging behind with several options in each constituency.
